Net2CAB v1.02 (c) 1997 by Mark Hammond (using OSS Pascal)
============================================================================

About Net2CAB
-------------
Net2CAB is designed to convert the 'bookmark' files created in Netscape
to the format used by CAB (v1.5) for its 'hotlist' file.

Features
--------
This is my first Atari program ! and as I have yet to master the
intracacies of GEM coding, it is just a TOS program. However, it has to
be said that as it is so simple in use, it really wouldn't benefit from
being GEM'ed anyway.

BTW this was coded without the aid of a manual!

Using Net2CAB
-------------
It could hardly be simpler. Either copy your 'bookmark.htm' file into
the same directory as Net2CAB, and press Return at the prompt, or type
in the full path name of the file, if located elsewhere. Seconds later
you will find (I hope) the file 'hotlist.htm' which should then be
transferred to the CAB /modules/ folder. As ever it would be prudent
to rename your original to 'hotlist.htx' or whatever.

Limitations and known problems
------------------------------
Net2CAB was created and tested on a Falcon, running Magic & Thing
(I've tried them all (excluding Mint) and this combo is the business.
Do yourselves a favour and try it).

Being a fairly straightforward TOS prog, I hope that it should work on
all Atari's. No doubt someone will tell me otherwise!

If you have imported the Netscape file from a Unix system, you should
first load the file into a good editor (such as QED) and resave it with
Atari style CR/LF linefeeds, otherwise Net2CAB will get confused! I
will attempt to remedy this problem in the next release.

Had I known how to code 'drag & drop' functions I would have
implemented it. Maybe someone would like to let me know.

PS. My regards to Alexander Clauss for a brilliant program (CAB).
Now if you could just improve the GIF/JPG dithering? Speak to Thomas
Kuenneth of STELLA fame, he has the best routines I've ever seen.
